Number Four!

The Kat Cellar has offically passed into the second half of the first decade of the new millennium. That's right. The Kat Cellar has a myspace. Silly, i know. But sometimes you need a little more than a free website for people to know you exist. So here it is.
Go ahead and add us if you want. We are shooting to update the music once a week. Hopefully our catalog is large enough to have two new songs every week. I think the plan is to only have two songs up at a time for now. Another thought was to have two different versions of one song. One mastered, one not. Just so people can hear what the actual difference is between the two. Just some thoughts. Go add us. (saying that made me feel a little ashamed.)

Capture The Plague Birthday Card

4 of 5

Second Entry

January 19th will be the second birthday for Capture the Plague, who is (officially) the longest running Kat Cellar band. They will be celebrating by performing a show at the Yapa. Eightish. Free.
Yes. The new album is still in the works, but the last vocal track will be done this week, we hope. After that, there will be a bit of mixing to do, but not much. Then it will be sent off (not really) for mastering. Peter Burckhard will be performing the mastering task.
-Peter Burckhard has also been working on a praise and worship album. It will be close to completion before next weekend. Wow. A real deadline! Who would have thought that we would put ourselves in such a position.
-Altman Studeny has yet to finish the tracking process. But, the last time we talked with him, there was very little left to do. Very little.
-Leah Arnold is still a high probability. At least we think so. We worked on a timeframe and it sounds like it will be in the month of January. This January.
-A Month Of Sundays will be performing their first show on January 19th at the Yapatorium with Capture The Plague. Word has it that they want to record a demo shortly after. They have about seven songs, so it will be a long demo. Not one of those bullshit two song demos that have integrated their way. Demonstration.
-Jeremyself is the last in line for the winter months. There is talk of his next album being released under a different name other than "Jeremyself." No Decisions made yet. Perhaps it will be "The Artist Formerly Referred To As 'Who?'".
until next time.
p.s. watching twentyfour hour party people inspired me to write this. thanks tony wilson.
